Intel, is a well-known manufacturer with a good processor, and has been used in many other smart devices.
As we know, during this popular Atom processor as the processor on gadgets, such as netbooks, Atom processor which have a low or moderate speeds.
But this time, Intel announced a new Atom type designated as highly efficient server processor power, which only need 6 watts, is named Atom S1200 processor .
Atom processor for the server has a 64 bit system on a chip that is designed for data centers with speeds from 1.6 GHz to 2 GHz.
Moreover, Atom S1200 also :
- Supports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory
- 8 PCI Express 2.0
- The basic features necessary for the purposes of data center.
Atom S1200 price is also quite cheap at only 54USD for ordering as many as 1000 units.
